The Social Kabob is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to! This was my second visit, and the food was just as amazing as the first time. The flavors are rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. The kabobs were juicy and well-seasoned, while the curries had the right amount of spice and depth. The service was friendly and efficient, making the whole dining experience even better. If you’re looking for delicious Indian food, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Great food. We tried the beef samosas and they were delicious. Not oily and very crunchy and filled with meat. We had the meat platter and it was great, seasoned rice and Greek salad were the sides and portions was the perfect amount for two people. Garlic naan was fresh and yummy. Service was friendly and attentive.

I recently dined at Social Kabob in Okotoks with my wife, and we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, and the rooftop patio provided a great atmosphere. My wife especially enjoyed the chicken Kathay wrap. We would definitely come back when we're in Okotoks again!

Best Indian food ever! We ordered a Kabob wrap and the butter chicken lunch special and we could not be more impressed. The girl that seated us was lovely. Flavours were amazing and the chicken was so tender. Naan bread was fresh and warm and the rice was perfect. We will be back asap as it was just that good. Absolutely a 5 star experience!

My wife and I were cruising back to Calgary after checking out the Okotoks Erratic (a big rock, surprisingly photogenic), and we figured we’d stop for a bite. Thanks to all the glowing reviews, we ended up at The Social Kabob, and I’m so glad we did. Right from the start, Dianne greeted us with a big smile and let us pick any seat since it was a quiet weekday afternoon. We hadn’t even ordered yet, and out came a plate of papad with mint chutney. That’s the kind of welcome we appreciate! The menu was extensive, so we asked Dianne for a recommendation for something light. She suggested the Mixed Chicken or Meat Tandoori Grill Platters, which include two sides and even come with fish. We went with the Chicken Platter, paired with a garden salad and naan. Thank you, Dianne, for such an excellent suggestion! Everything was fresh and well-prepared. The salad was crisp and lightly seasoned, and the naan was just the right size for lunch. When the platter arrived, the aroma was incredible. Each piece of chicken and fish was tender, flavourful, mouthwatering, and perfectly cooked. As for the seasoning, some places go overboard to mask poor cooking. Not here. At The Social Kabob, it was spot-on, giving the meal that comforting, homemade feel that leaves you craving more. The only downside? We live in the NW of Calgary, an hour away! But this spot is absolutely worth the drive, and we’re already planning to return with friends!

Hole in the Wall Gem! The Social Kabob is a true hidden gem! Don't let its small size fool you – this place packs a punch in flavor and service. We indulged in the lamb biryani, chicken pakoras, and tandoori paneer platter, and each dish was an explosion of authentic Indian spices. The lamb biryani was incredibly flavorful and tender, while the pakoras were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The tandoori paneer platter was a vegetarian delight, with perfectly grilled paneer cubes albeit a tad bit less spicy than we were used to. To top it all off, the service was impeccable. Our lady server was incredibly attentive and gracious, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're craving delicious and authentic Indian food, The Social Kabob is an absolute must-try!

First I must admit I love Indian cuisine. This place is one of the best that I have had. Small place, great friendly service. Clean. Food was outstanding. Well prepared, with a good level of spicy heat. (I like spicy food) The server made sure to tell us the spice levels available in some dishes. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Although it is not a great menu for kids unless they like rice.
